Ebinger Elementary School Vision and Mission Statements VISION STATEMENT Ebinger School will provide a positive learning environment that promotes educational excellence and includes Fine and Performing Arts for all students, including Students with Disabilities and English Language Learners. Students will be motivated, accomplished and self sufficient participants in a true community of learners. We envision a school where students will learn to take ownership of their education and will be prepared to be successful in high school and aspire to pursue postsecondary studies. MISSION STATEMENT Ebinger School strives to create an energetic and positive learning environment that promotes a holistic, innovative approach to learning and the desire to continually expand one's knowledge. We strive to improve each child's capacity for mathematics, literacy, science, problem solving, and critical thinking through a program that is based on the Illinois Learning Standards and integration of the Fine and Performing Arts. Through instruction and example we will emphasize tolerance, self-discipline, responsibility, and quality of character as building blocks for life for all of our students including English Language Learners and Students with Disabilities About Us Christian Ebinger Elementary School is located at 7350 West Pratt Ave. in the Edison Park area of Chicago. Ebinger School was built in 1927. We are a Pre-K through 8th grade school offering a superior education for almost 600 students. In addition to the core curriculum, every student receives instruction in physical education, library, art and music.
