Lunch Payment Information

This year, we are taking lunch money at the door as students enter the building. Lunch is $ 2.25 per day. You may pay for more than one day at a time.

Please enclose payment for your student’s meal in a sealed baggie with the following information included:

• Student name, first and last
• Student homeroom
• Amount enclosed in cash – exact amount only
• # of lunches (and breakfasts)
• Date range of meals, for example:
• One day only: March 16^th – indicate just that day
• One week or more with student buying lunch every day: March 16 to 26 = 9 days
• Different days each week when student likes the menu: indicate the exact dates meals will be eaten
• The current menu will be on the website - http://www.ebinger.cps.k12.il.us

If the menu changes or the lunchroom runs out of the listed item and your child decides not to eat a school meal for which you have already made payment, a credit will carry to the next unpaid service day. For example, if you pay for the period October 13-24, but your child does not eat a school meal on October 15 she/he will receive a credit for a meal on the next school day, October 27. A credit will also be given if the student has paid and is absent.

Your child will have to say his/her first and last name to the lunchroom manager. If you have a young child, please practice this at home.

Students cannot pay for lunch during their lunch period as the early payment determines how many will be prepared. Lunch must be pre-paid no later than the same morning.
